I started with just $500 in my TFSA and a ton of YouTube research. Three years later, I’ve built a 6-figure portfolio with nothing but discipline, low-cost ETFs, and dollar-cost averaging.Through smart financial decisions and persistence, I built wealth over time. Now, I own real estate in California, and it’s proof that with the right mindset and actions, anything is possible!
Okay so $100 a week, or $400 a month? Yes I know that's the name number, but with interest at the top of the month vs at the end of the month, are these two numbers still the same?
My company 401k has Fidelity's K6 Growth but it has a 0.45% expense ratio. Is it identical enough to SCHG that I should drop the Fidelity Growth Fund FGKFX?
I've currently got VOO and SCHD with SCHD being the majority holding in my portfolio at 190.89 shares, I've been torn between SCHG and VUG. For the growth sector of my portfolio. I'm 18 years old and I'm investing 13% of every paycheck. My emergency fund is 1,000 right now in a HYSA. Ive been looking at a supplemental dividend before I get a growth ETF, my considerations are between realty income "O" or EPR Properties "EPR" or would it be safer to go with a company like KO or MCD.
I have SCHB, SCHD, and SCHG in my ROTH IRA. As of November 8th, SCHG was up 9.25% since first buying it on August 26th this year. Pretty good for 2 month Growth.

"shoot off" 🤣
Seriously "professor" don't you think "take off" might be more, I don't know, intelligent sounding 🤔 🙄

Im loving this schg dip. The highs are higher, but the low times it goes lower, which i like, more discount.
Is this really true? 14% per annum sounds too high.
I like SCHX instead.

Who “officially” crowned it?
This was really motivational! How do you keep your mindset positive during downturns?
No SCHG where I am but I think it is similar to my
Ishares Nasdaq 100
Would it be good to have both VTI and SCHG in my portfolio or one just one?
doesn't QQQ or VGT beat SCHG without blinking an eye?
Can you get this ETF through vanguard?
Why would you do this? You just posted the fact SCHD was the fund to go with despite the ups and downs ? I’m not doing any duplication it’s SCHD
add in some JEPQ and SCHD and its a winning combo. i like having 5 funds to diversify
What is the best UK equivalent?
I’m old. Any advice for investing for 20 years?

1,840,248 and you said 1.7 million dollars. Your script is off pal
Lol, @ United Healthcare on top
I own over 400 or so SCHG and want to add more soon.. Great ETF along with SCHD to have IMO.
Not so hot today. Buying opportunity for me. Still not my best performer ytd. SPMO, VTI, IWY are much better.
Is it worth buying if I already have VFV? Just wondering about overlap
SKYY is better

VTI OR SCHG?
Problem is…i will most likely be dead in 30 yrs and a loaf of bread will cost $40,000
I have VOO but deciding which is better between SCHG and SCHD?
This is my 4th largest position with about 131 shares. Hard to argue with the low expense ratio and solid track record.
I don't have 30 years I'm old any advice on what to invest that will get me a million in 5 to 10 years
I currently have holdings in QQQM and SCHD l think lm good to go
4 to 1 split coming soon
