Took my 401 from $80k to $650k in the first 10 years. I calculated that only 1/3 of the original start up came from my actual contributions. The rest was non elective contributions from my employer. When you interview for a job make sure you ask about the 401 and if there non elective contributions. It will signal you're looking long term employment and that you're not going to accept low ball pay and raises.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

Never take advice from billionaires like Munger and Buffett. They got rich off of people like you. They do not get rich unless you lose money. In order for money to reach their pocket it first has to leave your pocket. Everything they tell you is worded in a way to sound great but make you lose money.

I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. I feel investors should be focusing on small caps stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
