I can't believe how much food she wasted. I think that's one of the rudest things customers at buffets can do. It's an insult to the people who work so hard to prepare it, not to mention wasteful as hell.

Best Buffet in America, got a chance to go to the buffet in 2023. The brisket was amazing the day I was there, plus had lots of high quality additions like real fresh whipped cream and about every condiment one could ever need. I wish we had something like this in Florida, and Der Dutchman in Sarasota does not compete to their level.

Come to Portugal !! In a economic restaurant outside the big cities, you have soup, home traditional maid dish, bread, drink (soda or wine), cofee and even a digestive drink for 6-8 us$ !!!

A) You will be grooming/training your eventual wife on how to cook if she cant cook( sadly some western women are in this mindset and proud of it, lol) and what type of meals to cook for you.
B) Save lots of Money by cooking better, tastier and most importantly "healthier" food than you would have eating out.
C) Spend more time getting to know her and if she is the right fit for you. wink wink.

Buffets could save tons of money if they would fire the maitre d's and drink waitresses. We can find an unused table and get self service drinks ourselves.
I gotta disagree with America being 'lots of cheap food', that was the 80's and 90's, since the 2000's America has converted over to boutique/bougie overpriced restaurants. $20 for a burrito isn't far fetched these days.
