I went to a community college in a small town for business admin and that got me a restaurant job. Then I got a few telemarketing/customer service jobs. Then I taught myself how to use SQL and got a tech support job, then data analyst, then customer success at a SaaS company, then head of customer success at a fintech in nyc’s financial district .
You don’t need to go to a fancy university but you do need to be self taught and confident, then people will start listening to you and they’ll let you in the rooms you need to be in.
I make 100k with no education. It’s the willingness to do anything legally for money. Out work everyone.
