I think that many countries with higher GDP are starting to tell lower GDP countries to get their act together and start making their own countries a good place for their citizens to live instead of continuing to be so bad that their citizens have to flee to nicer places. The United States for example is starting to tell South and Central American countries to start taking care of your own people, because we are not going to continue to do it for you anymore.
