I am really sad. I’ve been living without knowing that there are university rankings and that the programs of the same department varies among different universities. I disagree with his advice. You need focus on building a solid foundation first. Take those courses to build those hard skills to get a well paid job. No one going to hire you based on a mishmash of skills and you’re not going to run a business straight out of school. Employers will hire you based on what you know. Your bread and butter will be hard skills.

Don’t bother with college just go get out there and figure it out until it works. Never quit.
Start young, but you don't have to figure it out young. Use this time to learn
