The first million is the hardest. Start early with a mindset focused on where you want to be in 50 years. All the things that seem important and necessary when young may seem frivolous when you have the perspective looking back. Save on those little things now. Their cost will be worth 20 times as much later after you've invested instead. Unless you're lucky, YOLO may leave you working to survive way into your senior years.
